Welcome to the website of St. Croix Valley Schutzhund Verein. Founded in 1994, SCVSV is a multi-breed Schutzhund club located north of Minneapolis/St. Paul in Isanti, MN. Some of our members bring with them more than twenty years experience in training and competition, while others are working with their first schutzhund dog. We are all equal in our desire to learn and progress in all three phases of the sport.
At SCVSV we take great pride in our dogs, and our training. You will typically find us on the training field every Sunday. We welcome visitors to our club but request that you contact us first to set up a time and date for your visit.
Our Philosophy
Each dog handler team brings a unique set of qualities to the training field. Respecting this uniqueness, while at the same time developing a sense of teamwork, is one of our goals. Club members support and critique each other, and hold the common goal of excellence as both an ideal and work ethic.

What is Schutzhund?
